• 100% Fine SW Merino, with a single spun construction
• Sock/fingering weight
• 365 metres (400 yards) per 100g skein
• Recommended needle size: 2.25 - 3.25 mm (US 1-3)

All About the Base - St Lucia is a soft, plump yarn, with a very slight bloom. This fingering weight yarn is great for any next-to-skin wear, and is a wonderful choice for sweaters, tops, or cosy shawls. It is also lovely for hats! It really soaks up the colour beautifully, and colourways are often a little more intense on this base. 

Care instructions - Even though this is a superwash yarn, it is always recommended to wash your hand-knits by hand to extend the life of your garment or item. 
Hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap, and dry flat to maintain the shape.
Note: for darker, more intense colourways, there may be a little dye residue coming out in the first wash - this is normal and shouldn't affect your colours!
